Message: I don't wanna go to a jeep board. They don't have as cool a guys as we have on here.
With that out of the way, anyone ever do a spring-over conversion on their jeep? Anyone know what's involved? This info's for a buddy.

Message: There are a few kits out there that have all the parts ready for you to do a spring-over. Can't remember who makes it... Rubicon Express I think is one?? Its a fairly easy process with the right welder. Make sure you beef up the front steering parts to make up for 35's or whatever you put on. Thats about all I know... oh yeah, turbos work well with those engines too!! hehe...

Message: Thanks TallQuad. I'll have to talk with some of the guys at Trailready for even more detail. Funny you mention the turbo. A guy at Trailready has a supercharged 4LHO YJ, and it feels super strange to ride in. It just seems wrong for a square block with 33's to be accelerating that fast. ; )
