Message: What up josh. First off, Im not gonna jump on you or anything like I guess your friends are. I look at it like this: your doing US a favor for callin this guy and trying to get him to make us a susp lift. Not reason to get on you about it.
Ill write a post here about it. there are a couple guys here with my same truck that might be intrested in the lift. That is if it aint like $2000. So the fab guy glenn is planning on making multiple lifts all planned of an arm/spindle lift? Well, Ill let you get back to whatever your doing. Tell you wife I said hi. She seems real nice. It was wierd cuz I didnt know who tex 47548393 was. I thought it was someone else but turned out not to be. Awell, talk to you later Josh. Got any picts for your truck? Later.

Message: I talked to glen today and he said what he was interested in doing was a fab job , not a kit that you could just buy ......He said it would be for the newer dak 97 and up , It would include lower and upper arms and spindle and coil overs , and might include fiber glass fenders .......All for 7,000 , if I only had the money .........The black durango is from somebody I know , he did it a bk fabwerks and yes it was a 4by but never was able to put the axles back on due to the width and also the angle of the joints .......Now the durango is a 98 and the frame is straight on both sides , so I don't think the arms would be good for the dak with the 4.7 .......The passengers side is in an angle , the drivers side straight .........and also we have the bottom arms that are offset one side is in more than the other .......It would be nice to have the money and do it ....... Gr did the rear of the white dakota , on the www.jordansrealm website , that truck looks good , not as wide as the baja dak ..........allright to work I go I need 7 gs' .......

Message: joe, i'm so sorry dude. glenn is sticking with the Gen III's. i just got off the phone with him, and he told me that there isn't a "want" for the older daks. steal yes i did talk to him. as for you rivermanaic, the rear of that dak on jordansrealm.com was done by the owner jermey and the front end was done by GR Fab. he's also running 35/12.50 BFG Baja TA's on that 2wd dak unlike dan (the owner of "baja dak") which is only running 33's. i'm sorry that you got the wrong info rivermanaic, Glenn just told me that it will be a kit (basiclly a direct "bolt-up") it will contain uppers, lowers, spindles, extended brake lines, proper modified steering components, and a lift coil (if he's able to get someone to make it for him.) the details are : it will be roughly 8" wider than stock, it will lift the dak's front end about 6-8", and it will get between roughly 12-16" of wheel travel. this complete kit will run you around $4,200. once again joe i talked to about the Gen I and II and he said that he thought about it and like i said before he came to the conclusion of that there wasn't the "want" for lifting those year models like there is for the Gen III. sorry dude maybe after this kit comes out he'll do it. sorry for the bad news. as for the Gen III owners there you go i got someone to do a 6-8" lift for ya.

Message: alright dude i guess if we're going to get a pi$$y attitude and be a smart a$$. how about this get hooked on phonics and try to read what i wrote again, "Glenn just told me that it will be a kit (basiclly a direct "bolt-up") it will contain uppers, lowers, spindles, extended brake lines, proper modified steering components, and a LIFT COILS (if he's able to get someone to make it for him.)". now look at this website http://www.kartek.com/prod-windows/truck/frontsusp/chevy/cst-c7-2-package.htm that is a chevy s-10 (which has a simular, if not identical, suspension to the dakota) and they're getting 10" of wheel travel then i don't doubt that glenn can't get 12". hell he's the only one so far that has stepped up to try something for us, besides fabtech and aim. that's fine though if you don't beleave me then either shut-up or call glenn and ask him about the dakota kit that he discussed with josh smith.

Message: Josh, could you do me a favor? Ask Glenn next time you talk to him about how much a custom set of spindles would cost in general? I am still looking for a shop that is reliable to custom make or refabricate a set of 3in ers. Thanks.

Message: no prob dude. i hope you remembered that these spindles are going to use heims instead of balljoints. so are you going to get someone, like a local shop, to install them so that your stock arms would work with them? if so it would be easier/faster to get a set Gen III spindles for it.

Message: josh , the only one with the pissy attitude here is you , I talked to glen and he said a fab job 7 grand , If he told you something else , then good for you , why you getting pissed off ?????? I'm just asking you how you are going to get travel , if you don't use
coil overs ??????? and if you do ,
you will have to weld something to hold it to the frame , that's all . relax ....... step back and take a breath , if you get 20" of travelout of the stock srings then good for you ...........

Message: Yo RM, he said above that the springs are not stock. They are a lifted coils that have yet to have found a manuf. er for them.
So 20 inch? donno, but maybe with lifted coils...
OK, I feel like a total jack azz asking this. Whats the difference with hems and ball joints? Explain this pleze.
And about the Gen III spindles, I doubt they would hook up to my Gen I suspension. What do you guys think? Any truck out there with older Dak like suspension setups?
Thanks.
