Message: 3.55 or 3.92.
As for axles, I think it's something along the lines of general 8.25" front, 9" rear? Hope this rings a bell with you. I'm sure someone else will be able to correct me if I'm wrong.

As YJ said, either 3.55 or 3.92 gears.

Message: There should be a sticker wraped around your axles saying what ratio they have in them. also the rear will say if you have limited slip on it..

Message: You either have an 8 1/4" or 9 1/4" rear axle. As Knobby stated, there should be a tag wrapped around one of the axle tubes (beside the "pumpkin"). The gearing may or may not be on that tag, the sticker on edge of driver's door or a sticker in the glove box. (Don't you love Daimler-Chrysler's consistency?!?!)
I know that the 9 1/4" axles have a 12-bolt cover, but I'm not sure what the 8 1/4" axles have...although, I seem to remember 10.
One shade-tree mechanic way of getting a feel for what gearing you have is to jack the rearend of the truck up & put it on jackstands, and climb underneath & place a small mark at the bottom of the driveshaft & one of the tires. Then rotate the driveshaft by hand & count the revolutions it takes to rotate the tire one turn. If it is about 3 1/2 turns, you have 3.55 gears. If it is just short of 4, you have 3.92's. And so on, and so forth.
This link will show all available gear sets for your axle: http://www.ring-pinion.com/a-dodge.html
Hope that helps.
