Crabbytint - How do you know? Do you have the 6.5" lift on your truck w/ 35x12.5's on your truck? .... I didn't think so. No one knows what size tires will fit until someone trys it.

Message: Doobie,
Keep us all posted, man. That's the exact setup I'd like to go with on my 2K QC. I'd like to see if 35's are going to fit under that lift.
Thanks a million for bein' the first to try that setup.

Message: Ian,
How long would my truck need to be there? I am in cali, but might be able to drive down depending on how often you need to see the truck. I have a 98cc 4x4 with a 3in body lift and I cranked the torsin bar and have a 2in block in the rear. I am running 33's. Please email me.

Message: I am looking into buying a 10'' suspension lift for my 98 dakota. The lift I have now is a tuff country and lets say its not so tuff! All of the brackets are bent so bad that they will have to be replaced. Soo the best thing for all you new guys that are looking at lifts is to look at your brackets and see were you can reinforce them better. If you guys need more information on dakota stuff Write to me at jrhynalds@aol.com My dakota has 5.5 3inch body 4.56 richmond gears and 37inch bogers on 15x10 stone crushers.

Message: Evan,
yeah I put a 3inch body to fit 37s. The torsion bars are cranked up, and minor trimming. I live in washington state and its the only dakota around that sits that high. I will send some pics in to the readers rides page as soo as I get a digital camera.

Message: The front drop down brackets on the tuff country are stought but they are not one piece and over time and stress the cheap bracket that holds the two together has bowed and the alignment is a way off. Lets just say that I spent 1200.00 on boggers that only lasted me 10,000. miles. Iwas wondering about the truckin lift? Are the front drop brackets for the lower a arms one piece or three? And has Whiplash gone under, cause there front brackets are one piece. Nomatter what lift I go with to replace the tuff country I know that I will have to beef it up. If only puting a strait axle was under 5 grande!

Message: 3 .. One for each side of the a arm.. and one to connect them. The drop down bracket for the upper a-arm drop bracket is probably the worst piece on the kit.. it's shaped like a box w/ one side cut off and then there is a real cheep piece of metal tht attaches to it for the upper shock mount.
The whole kit is cheep.

Message: Hey, Thanks for the info but I am good at fabn soo when I get the new lift the truck is going to a friends shop and all the parts are going to be looked over beefed up and all the front & rear brackets are to be braced. On the 4.5 did the drive line touch the crossmember? on the tuff country the crossmember hand to be cut and if I go with the the 9.5 what happens to the crossmember? And buy the way you said that the tuff country looked stronger! Because the only brackets that were salvagable were the tosion drops, the steering drop and the rear blocks .
