Smitty built makes one. I got a single single for my 1990 from pickup truck accessories, I think. Ill look into finding my info on it. i looks nice though. Talk to you later when I get the info.

I've got a double/double on mine, but can be ordered as a single/single. I got mine from JC Whitney. Not sure how much it was a X-Mas gift. It's made by grizzly. I'm pretty sure it'll fit on a 89. I don't think the bed dimensions are different, correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually, I also bought that Grizzly Bar. I had to send it back because it was a few inches TOO wide. So I bought a smittybuilt Roll bar. I love mine too. I am in the process of refining my bed setup. I ran the Roll bar through my toneau cover. Looks ok and works fine. But I am working on making it look more "professional." Good Luck.

when i bought my 90 sport it came wih the roll bar, im not sure who made it if anyone knows, my guess was hooker (yes the same as the header mfg) cuz it has all the same looking peices as my hooker grill guard, at anytrate if they arent the same brand they have the same shape and size light mounts and everything looks about the same that can be compared

I am looking forward to buy a triple/double stainless steel/chrome plated, floor mounted, Grizzly Roll Bar for DODGE RAM 1500, 2003 model. Can anyone help me. I have tried Summit Racing, Truck Addons, 4wheel parts, etc. without any luck.

Are the smitty roll bars for looks, safety (or both)? The wife has read about pick-ups and rollover accidents and is giving me grief - so I would need a roll bar for safety reasons.

most of the production rollbars you see are mostly for looks. They bolt to the floor of you bed. thye will hlp alittlt but not keep yoiur cab from getting scrunched. the smitty one i have is thick metal and pretty strong, but my bed will give away quicker than the bar.
if your looking for safty, get one made that bolts to the frame. aka, cuts through your bed floor. Or you might get a smitty or equilivent and make brckets to extend it to the frame. good luck.

You drill holes in the bed of you truck and drop bolts through the holes and nuts underneath. it is time consuming but very very easy

Can anyone point me in the direction to find a roll bar for my 04 dakota quad cab. I have been looking everywhere, and most of the places I find say they will fit an like 1998-2003 and then 2005-2007. and I am like "What about 04..."

I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab. I am looking for a roll bar but want to mount it on top of the caps instead of in the bed because i have three dirtbikes and need as much bed space as possible. I saw someone with the one i want the other day but we were driving but now i know they make what im looking for.
