Message: Last night I went for a drive with my girlfriend. We ended up in Layton, Utah looken at BIIIGGG houses. I saw a dirt road and decided to go wheelen for a bit. I went for a while and found a pretty rutted hill with a Toyota TRD with the factory locker tring to climb it. He tried twice while I was there and then let me try. He shouted "Good Luck" I went up it with out a problem. We went a little futher then turned around. The Toyota waited for us to come down. He wanted to know if I was locked up. I said no just the factory LSD. He was amazed and could not beleive it. Granted it was mostly his line and the driver gunning it once the tires started to spin a little. Drivers have a lot to do with wheel'en. By no means am I a good driver. But it was nice to humble a Toyota fan. They think they can go anywhere with that locker in the rear. Ya right

Message: I love it when you can show up a toyota...
I recently climbed a very steep high with my new locker installed, much to the amazement of the blazer that could make it. I wonder if the front/back weight dist. makes the dakota a supreme hill climber? (Not rock climber cause i don't know, just straight up steep hills).
Any body else notice this?, Walt?

Message: I know what you guys mean. Went up a crazy steep hill today, one section almost verticle in my 93 longbed 4x4 Dakota w/318. With practicaly bald 4x4 tires I made it up the hill where my buddys Nissan couldnt. My Dak is an offroad beast. It wont be denied!!
