They are the only ones that currently have a front bumper for the Dakota. Trail Ready is making one but they don't have a dates set yet. And last night I found this SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET bumper but it's for a Range Rover Discovery. I'm trying to get intouch w/ the company to see if they could make a bumper for the Dakota's. Here's a link to the bumper.
I'm hopeing that they will produce at least one because these things ROCK!

That bumper is on an Excursion so maybe you'll be in luck with a bumper for our Dak's.

Yeah that's a mean looking front end, I'd be up for one of those setups.
Looks like a Con-Ferr roof rack up top, those things are indestructible have one on my CJ-7. That's one company I wish would make stuff for Daks. Excellent quality in fabrication.

Really...... You like Con-Ferr stuff... b/c I need to finish my roof rack I got sidetracked when I started working on lifts & bumpers. Perhaps I'll contact them about doing my roof rack. I was going to do it myself but GAH why go threw all that pain?

Hello, check out www.roadarmor.com. These guys make the most indestructable winch bumpers. They have experience in making bumpers for Rams and custom applications. They are not cheap, but if you want a great solution for a winch bumper that looks great and can take abuse: this is the answer. Contact them for a custom bumper.

jjdak2002 .. they .. if I remember correctly are actually working on a bumper for the Dakotas.
Safari Guard never got back to me :( I tried e-mailing them again but got no responce.. Maybe they got eaten by a Lion or something.
Anyway Winch Bumpers that are available today..

Those are the only 2 companies that I know are making bumpers for our trucks or thinking about it.
Here is a picture of the Hanson Bumper mounted on Fourxfore Truck.. I talked to the owner of Hanson Bumper really nice guy. I'm actually going to try and get some of the shackle tabs from him.. as soon as I can fax some information over to him.

Wow, Thanks Knobbyman! Your winch bumper is exactly the style/design I am looking for. I just got back to the message board and I am glad you placed a pic for us to drool over. I am going to contact Hanson on Tuesday and order one identical to yours. Are those recessed PIAA lights? Which model? They look great in that bumper. I have the Warn 8500i winch. I hope that will fit in this bumper? It looks like you have a similar winch on your Dakota? How is the quality, installation, and your satisfaction with the bumper so far?? Sorry for so many questions, but I have been
looking for this style bumper for a long time and I almost gave up and ordered the Warn bumper,
which does not look nearly as good. Thanks again..

jjdak2002 actually it's not my truck.. It's forexfour and he has had nothing but good things to say about the bumper. I do believe that he has the Warn 9000i installed the lights are actually the stock foglights from Mopar but you could use some PIAA lights if you wanted to.

The bumper is Great. Had to use the winch a couple times this weekend on the dunes and it is very strong. You can have the PIA lites installed, in fact I think he preffers them over the stock lites. RESQready has the PIA's on his and it looks great. I have the Warn HS9500i on my bumper and it is pretty quick.
The install is pretty easy and basic. You will love the bumper!
I love the double takes I get in the review mirrors of others!
Call Wayne and talk to him about what you want he will hook you up if you are serious about it!

Land line is the best way to communicate with Wayne. If you send him a e-mail you probably wont hear from him for a while. If you call him leave a message he will call you back. He is one busy guy but always has time to make a bumper!

My buddy at Trailready told me he thought the bumper would be out sometime after the spring/summer rush for our dakotas. I gave him crap about it....he just laughed and said our dakotas just don't have enough of the market right now. I guess that can be good in some ways. ; ) (Resale?)

Yeah I got the 33's on did some trimming in the front Wheel wells, Back side. 12.5's do give you rubbing on the frame on full turns just a little. No other rubbing.
Wayne Hanson really only designed the bumper cause he was led to believe that know one else would be doing one. He has allot of time and research in this bumper and probably still trying to get on the plus side on these bumpers.
Wayne would appriciate any business he can get. Even without the winch mount this makes any Dak or Durango look great.
As far as the market for Dakota's and Durango's, it seems to me that there are more and more of these on the roads now. I see them everywhere it seems.

The cable does not touch the grill. The winch is sunk in mounted to make it theft proof without welding the bolts to the nuts. The cable does not touch anything but the spindle it is wound on.
But the grill rubs on the winch a little when opening the hood. But you can not see the rubbed areas when closed.

airbag works fine with the bumper. Believe me I speak from experience. When you get in a wreack it deploys flawlessly
