4.5", 6.5", and 8.5" lifts are available. You can order it from http://www.truckin-virginia.com I will be the first to try the production version and I will have input as to how the install goes and what size tires fit with the 4.5" lift. If I missed anything please post on that other topic.

Install time IF! you know what your doing is 6-8 hours but that's if you have all the tools & you've done it before. Once I get mine installed I'll let u guys know how long it took. We are doing it in my driveway w/ Jackstands & stuff so we'll see what happens.

Message: I have been watching this website for a few months now. Thanks for the useful info!
Just wanted to let you guys know that last night I was browsing through an offroad mag (can't remember which one) and I saw a big fat add for Truckin Suspension that advertised free installation with any full lift kit purchase. I can't see why they wouldn't be obligated to honor that add? Anyway once my taxes are done my 2k Sport is going up.
Cheers

Message: Blizzard.. Actually I got a sweet deal they charge the same price as any shop the just take a little longer which is fine by me I can take more pictures because of it. Also I'd like to help them do it if they'd let me get it done faster & be a bit more knowledgeable.
Guys the Free Installation was when the lift kits were priced higher around $2000 when they re-did the pricing they could no longer offer the free installation.
Basically Kit + Install = $2000 or Kit = $1200 Install costs about $800 so it all works out.

Message: Knobby is probably right on the pricing (he usually has his facts straight), but I will hunt down the mag and post the issue tomorrow. I don't have it here with me at work.
Question- do you guys know if the first truck done (the red one) was a 4.5 or 6.5 lift? I just want to run 33's and that's what it looked like they had on there. The rig looked good! I do question the functionality, I just don't want to lay down the $$ and not have a trail worthy vehicle.
Thanks

http://www.dakotausa.com/RedDodge4x4Side.jpg
Where is the part for the bracket which keeps these in their original location? I couldn't see it in the list.
I just wouldn't want to smack these on a rock with them all exposed like that. This is my ONLY concern about the lift. I think it looks great otherwise, and will probably grab the 6.5" lift myself.

Message: YJ is correct.. the Red Dakota is lifted to 6.5" and he was running 33x12.5x15 on 15x10's and is rubbing because of a alignment problem which I'm trying to figure out if it's been fixed but dperkins isn't responding to my e-mails.
If you put 35x12.5x15 on 15x8 wheels it SHOULD.... fit w/ the 6.5" lift but.. No one has tried it yet.

'Cause that'd be great... ;)

Message: I sent an email to Tuff Country asking them when in doubt they would be producing a 5.5 lift for the 2002 Dakota and they said the were not producing one at all. Reason being, because they have a weak rack and pinion. Has anyone else heard of this problem? If it is even a problem to begin with. And if you have any suggestions for a 02 lift please let me know.
