Message: I am from Truckin Suspension I just wanted to post this here for you all to see. We have 4.5, 6.5 and 9.5 kits for the 99 and newer 4x4 Dakotas. Here a description of what will be included with the kits.
The 99 and newer Dakota and Durango (with rack and pinion) lift kit has drop down brackets for the upper control arms, front differential, lower control arms, and rack and pinion, it utilizes 2 DD u-joints with heims idler to connect steering to rack and pinion, it has a side to side cross brace (one side left and one side right hand threaded with heims joints) from both upper a-arm drop brackets for added rigidity, a new torsion bar cross member and drop down brackets take care of the unboltable factory torsion bar cross member, the rear lower a-arm drop is a one piece cross member for added strength, the rear will be lifted with a shackle and hanger kit. The 6.5" kit will allow you to run 35 inch tires with standard off sets. This kit also has an optional frontn skid plate.
You can contact me with any questions about the kit. Our site is also updated with all of the 4x4 dodge kits and pricing. Check it out. www.truckinsuspension.com
Thanks
Ian

I have heard mentioning of free install with purchase, is this true? Also, What locations in NY do you have? Couldn't really tell from the website as it does not list the city and state together, I live near Syracuse. Thanks.

Check the website again they re-did the listing of the shops www.truckinsuspension.com but for easy referance.. In New York.. they have shops in Albany, New York & New York City... I figure you probably know where those are better then me.
4wDakota
Rancho already has a lift for the 97-99. I think the only thing that Truckin Suspension has for those years is the "Pork Chop" and personally I wouldn't recomend it.. but it would be alittle cheeper then getting a full lift from Rancho.
EVERYONE!
If you guys want to know all about how someone likes this lift don't forget about "dpkerns" he has the Red Dakota that they have been working with. Hopefully I will be able to give you some input as to how I like this lift soon also. Only thing I think that is going to be a problem is the traction bars for the front.. it looks like they hang down far.. But we'll see. I'm hoping that they are BEEFY. I'll let you guys know.

Message: Got this from Ian as well. Thought I'd post.
There is a 4 degree shim to correct driveline angle. The warranty is that we will back for the life of the kit for any manufacturing defects. Yes you can run 35s with your stock wheels. The difference between 6 and 4 inch lift in terms of parts is nothing. It is the same parts just different amount of lift.
Not sure if they'll cover things like torsion bars if, say, it ends up like the mid-90's f150s where the torsion bar angle is too much to handle.
Knobbyman...can't wait for your input. I want to see if our dakota IFS can handle a 6.5". Are you doing the 4.5" or the 6.5"? If you're doing the 4.5" is there anyone I can talk to that will have the 6.5" installed?
Thanks guys....can't wait to get this thing in the air.

Message: YJ .. dpkerns has the 6.5" installed and last I heard he has his truck back.
I'm doing the 4.5" lift I think 35's are to much for me. Don't want to get to top heavy... ;-)
Glad to hear about the warranty that's the one thing I forgot to ask about. YJ they replaced the stock torsion bar so hopefully the beefed up version will have no problems.
