I installed a Warn Trans4mer mounting system and an X8000i on my 2001 Dakota about one year ago and have been pleased with it. Make sure you have the heavy duty electrical option and a good battery, though.

My buddy Chris at roadarmor (trailready) will hopefully let me know when it's available and get me a decent group-buy if anyone's interested. I feel my stock bumper looks great but is about as solid as the transmission.

Actually, cutting the T-shaped slots in the bumper wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Just double check the measurements that Warn specifies and go slow when cutting. You shouldn't have any problems.
