I know this is a little off topic but this forum always seems to know the answers. so:
Today I got a new windshield b/c my other one was cracked. I asked for a Mopar windshield and they said, np. I went to pick up the truck and they installed a Pinkington windshield. I think they make windshields for several OEMs, but is this what comes on the truck from the factory? I wanted to look at another Dakota to see what brand it had, but I couldn't find one on the way home. Mine has the manufacturer on the passenger side at the bottom of the glass (on the outside). I don't know where it was before b/c I never looked to see what brand it was. Can someone please check and let me know? I'd really appreciate it! Otherwise, I'm bringing it back for a new Mopar part tomorrow! THanks!

I didn't check but I don't think that's the OEM windshield.. But in all honesty I don't think it matters. Unless one is bullet proof or there is something I don't know about. I don't see why it would matter.. Unless you just like arguing w/ people like I do.

Well, it's not that I like arguing... I was just pissed that they were charging my insurance company for the Mopar (much more expensive) windshield and giving me an aftermarket piece of glass. Anyway, they were very apologetic when I called them on defrauding my insurance provider... It's no wonder insurance rates are so high! I dropped the truck off again this morning and it's supposed to be done this afternoon.
