Message: Does the front end problems END!
First things first, you guys are kick ***. I'm a Marine (not much money to drop in the truck to fix it!)(rather spend it tricking it out) you guys have saved me a lot of money. I bought the truck used when I returned from the middle east, factory warrenty is over. Problem front end is ticking, it has the pop as everyone elses.....im dealing with that......but this is different....as im moving it goes tick,tick,tick...faster i go, faster the tick. sounds like its near the tire....hard to tell...matallic sounding...doesnt seem to have an effect on driving.....just really annoying. looked at the breaks...cant find it...i have all ready replaced the rotors/breaks.....i really love this truck. Also now that I have some time I would like to get together with some of you Dak guys here in Southern Ca (SD area) compair rides, get ideas, go wheeling. I will get some pictures online soon of my ride.
Thanks in advance for the input.
Be safe,
SteveM

Message: Hey, I live in the OC area and have the same truck you do, except mine is a sport. I'm up for going off-roading sometime if you like. There's a few places just North of SD I've been wanting to check out. Unfortunately I also have the same problem you do with the front end click.
The dealer can't seem to find the problem even though I told him it's probably the ball joints.
