what ever you do.. DO NOT BUY THIS KIT... they are crap.... I'm not sure how else to put it.. but it's true.

I had one for a year, and then threw it out!

What didn't you like about the TC Kit SolidAxleDurango? It's the first I have heard bad about TC lifts on our trucks except the install wasn't very easy and required modifications of TC parts to fit properly, but after that it was all good. I was on your website, very nice truck. I have an 01 and am waiting patiently for a reputable manufacturer to have a 3-5" suspension lift available and do not want to spend $1,500+ for a kit that is crap, I cannot afford a solid axle conversion so I will be limited to the few kits if any kits made in the future. Thanks for the reply.

My thread is a few back, but reading it from the beginning is entertaining:

Mickw82, I didn't realize you were trying to lift a 2wd. Why are we talking about lifting 2wd vehicles in the off-road section? Kind of tough to off-road when your front wheels aren't spinnin' ain't it?

I wrote the above as RadioShack. Hey man, I think it's quite respectable that you're workin' full time and going to school. I was just kiddin' around. I think it's even cooler you're drivin' a dakota. Good choice. ;) Being a manager anywhere at 19 is pretty impressive in my book. Anyway, I apologize for comin' off a bit harsh.
As for 2wd wheelin', I guess you're ok if you're not rock crawlin' or muddin'. And yes, I've heard of lifts for your 2000 dakota. I assumed it was 4 wheel drive when you were talking about a big lift. My mistake. It sucks there's nothing out for my 2000 quadcab. I have some friends on the inside at places like Trailready and Randy's R&P but they have no time-frame and say Tuff Country is draggin' their feet. Guess I'm just gonna have to wait. At least I have my trail-worthy YJ to take up for now. If only I could peel my girlfriend away from it for a weekend. ;) For some reason she likes the sound from the 33" muds. ;)

Have a good weekend buddy.
