Message: The Performance Accessories kits for 2000 and newer Dakotas have all the necessary parts except for a longer radiator hose (the supply an extension but I just don't see how it would work.) For that get a 21 inch universal fit hose. For 2000's (maybe for previous years as well) you will need to weld in an extension for the 4WD shifter...the kit contains the rod to do that. Perf Acc also recommends welding on two overload brackets under the bed (supplied in the kit)...haven't done mine yet. Gap guards are sold separately. Their brake line support piece was a mystery as to how it is supposed to fit...Hawkeye's dad saved the day by making two small aluminum brackets.
My advice is to either do the lift with someone who has done it before, or spend some time with the instructions looking over your truck to figure out exactly how to do all the steps.

Message: Manual or Automatic? If it is Manual, you may not get the extension for the stick shift. They just recently added that to the 2000 Kit. If you don't get it, just call them at 1-928-636-7080 and they will send it along with instructions. The other option is to heat it up and bend it, but you lose the height and may not do it right.
