Message: How much would it cost me to raise my 2000 extended cab to make it look like a stock 4wd? Would it be a suspension or body lift?

Message: You could do either one! A stock 4x4 is about 3" higher than a stock 4x2. So really, either a 3" body lift or a 3" suspension lift would work. A body lift will be much cheaper, but the frame will show. If you want to look closer to a "real" 4x4 then I would go with a suspenion lift.

Message: Forgot to add cost...
Body Lift: about $180
Suspesion: around $750
Installs (if you don't do it yourself) can add another $500. Just an estimate! Hope this helps. :- )

Message: I'm not sure if the 2000 4x4's use 15 or 16 inch rims. In any case, you should still be able to fit the same size tire as a 4x on your current rims.
Also, if you decide to use Fabtech's 3" suspension lift, you WILL need new rims with different backspacing to push those tires out away from the new a-arms the kit comes with. Just some info in case your planning between the body or suspension lift! I have my stock 2002 16x8 wheels in my garage that I can't use anymore because I have the Fabtech kit. I had to buy new ones, but I was going to anyway with 33's.
