damn that sounds pretty good. I can't really afford it at that price. Costs more than my truck is worth... I had thought about going the gr fab route at some point and had planned on spendin around 5k maybe, but i think i'd lose interest in the dak if i had 7k to throw at something a little more mod friendly, or a baja bug to beat the hell out of. BUT, if you seriously get into that i might be interested in going in there too and maybe we could cut down a little of the cost on both ends.Let me know.

I'm in Newport Beach, soCal.
The 33's did rub a bit when i was out this weekend, it really bummed me out. I kinda just chilled cuz i didn't want to break any fiberglass. I need to do a little more trimming where the fenders meet the lower door. I think i might have actually hit the frame mount down there too. I don't think i can really do much about that....hey they look pretty bad ass tho.
It was the first time out I had an LSD. I hadn't driven a truck with one before. Definately glad i went that route. I feel a lot more confortable in the soft stuff now. It's cool on the street too, i just hope it doesn't wear the sh*t outta my rear tires.

ya it is real expensive and i talked to gr fab but they are all booked up for over 6 months with work and haven't done a dakota in over a year. I am still waiting for atomic to get back at m but i'm not sure if that will happen anymore since money i was counting on to come in doesn't seem to be comng so it cuts my budget to around 5k. I hopoe i can get something done for that that is better than the fabtech kit. I'm up in Salinas, MidCal not too many prerunners around here, the general consensus around town is mine's the best but i know of many that are getting some built that'll be better so i'm trying to keep a leg up. Sucks to hear about the rubbing. The lsd isn't too bad on tires since i have a factory lsd that still works after 190k miles and it is great in bad terrain.
