 Subject: DS 98 Package?

Anyone ever heard of a DS 98 package on a dakota? I saw one. It had a DS 98 sticker right where the Z71 would be on a chevy. The owner claims that it's real. He said that the only thing he did to it was put new rims and tires on there along with a set of nerf bars. The tires where 33x12.50 Wrangler MT/Rs. The truck looked like it had a 3" body lift. Though it could have been a 3" suspension. I couldn't really get a good look. It was dark out. The truck looked dang good. He said the bank appraised it as $28,000 but he got it for $15,000. I'm pretty sure that if he didn't due the modifications himself then a previous owner must have and he didn't relize this. Anybody have some comments? After seeing this truck in person I deceided that I have to put a 3" lift on my truck with some 33x12.50s.

DS 98... 98 Dakota Sport? That guy is smoking his grass clippings or is real gullible if he believed that story from the previous owner. Dakota's unlike the Ram OffRoad have not been offered with a factory lift kit. I would like a Dakota OffRoad to be offered, that would be cool.
