Heres the story. I had to go pick someone up at a warehouse. They were doing construction and broke a water main. So I say screw it I have a "TRUCK" So I go through the water it was about 2 feet deep. Well the brakes got wet thats normal. But the driver side wheel well got pushed out of the front bumper and into the tire and my horn sounds like it went 10 round with Tyson. The truck dosent feel the same either. I had a cherokee before this and that thing took more of a beating than this truck and didnt blink. Are these trucks made for grocery shopping or what??

The plastic wheel well things are VERY!! weak I ripped one of mine out as well I'm BOLTING it in this time. If that doesn't work .. I'm making a fiberglass one and Riviting it to the truck DAMN IT IT"S GOING TO STAY! ;-) but that's just me.

You would think that the bolts in the wheel well/bumber are holding that piece in. Guess not

I had my 97 4x4 in water so deep it covered my head lights and I had no problems except I got a little water inside one of my headlights which I had to get out. The current was so strong it actually started to push my truck off the road. I just put the pedal down and came through fine.

Hehe. My wheel well is still in the garage after it's last fall off!! And It's freakin stayin there!

Umm.. Dak I said the same thing till I went threw the mud again.. The mud decided it wanted to play abit more so it came in the cab w/ me. You might want to put it on when going mudding. Also it keeps water off your heads. That would just be bad if it got on there. Crack....
