Subject: Pulling up hill IP: Logged
Message: I plan on removing 4 or 5 rear ends from junked vehicles in a wooded area but all of the axles are down in a little valley. I can climb out of this valley no problem in my Dakota empty but I have concerns about stressing my dakota with even just 2 rears in the bed. I have a tow chain long enough to pull them up and out before loading them in my truck but where do I tie to since I dont have a tow package? Also, would I be testing the limits if I pulled 2 or 3 up at a time?

Message: You should have no problem dragging or hauling 2 or 3 of these at a time. If your truck is a 4x4, just use low-range, and go. I've pulled stuck cars/ trucks from over hills in the snow/ mud, with 4, 6, and 8 cylinder trucks. All of the trucks have been 4wd, however. If you have good tires, you should have no problems if using low-range.
