ya i have basically same q as other guy about 2wd converted to a 4wd how much would it cost and are there custom shops that do this stuff ???
and the truck i got is a 1996 dodge ram

suspention wise could i go with front leave or how about a 4 link front and rear and could you put a 4 link lcg(low center of gravity) system like for a jeep on a dakota with oh i dont know 2 ton axles?

Hey, i've got a 2000 dakota slt 3.9l and just out of curiosity how much $ would it take to make a 4x2 into a 4x4, the cheapest way possible. I don't really need 4x4 very often, but when i do, I DO. Someone who
knows what their talking about just toss out a figure.

More than your truck is worth. It would be better to trade yours in for a 4X4.
