 Subject: Draincock plugged

Now I know that this isn't exactly a 4x4 question, but when I went to drian out my radiator to flush it my draincock was plugged up. Anyone had this problem before? Any ideas on what I should do?

I forgot to say that my truck is a 97 5.2L. I'm not sure if the radiators vary that much year to year or model to model.

Did you pull it out after turning it? I thought the same thing until I started to pull it out a little and then it would drain. It takes forever to drain that system through that small valve. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I didn't try that. I didn't really want to break it so I didn't pull on it too much. I'll try it this weekend when I get time.
