 Subject: PIAA dakota at SEMA show

Did anyone see the dakota that PIAA had at this years SEMA show? It has a winch bumper on the front and I'm trying to find out who made/makes it. I tried e-mailing piaa their answer "we don't know" I asked who built the truck for them and again "don't know" good communication going on at that company! I checked all the bull bar/ winch bumper companies I could think of ( TJM, ARB, Pro zap, road armor) no luck, So if anyone knows who made this bumper let me know.

Ah yes, the Turtle Expedition Weekend Warrior. I guess PIAA used it for their show truck this year. Take a look at this site to see more pics and descriptions.

The bumper is by Hanson Enterprise. I just got one last week, however their new design uses rectangular lights in the bumper instead of the round factory lights.

Thanks for the info, I really like that bumper. If you don't mind me asking what did it cost you? I had a Pro Zap on my nissan but it mounted like crap.

The base bumper will run about $700, with a bunch of add-on options to choose from. Check out Hanson's website for pricing. I ended up adding the shackle tabs, winch provisions, and rectangular light cut outs. I decided not to get the grille guard, which would have been an extra $250 or so. In the end, I paid $1,100 plus tax (unfinished). Hanson bumpers are well designed and well built, and can accomodate up to a 3" body lift. Once I get my bumper powder coated and mounted, I'll post some pics.

I actually have one on order. They come un finished I plan to paint the bumper the color of my truck (patriot Blue) and the brush guard black
There was also a full size Ram that was at the show that had both front and rear bumbers by Hanson.
