Subject: Hi Rev's in the morning IP: Logged
Message: Sometimes when my engine is cold it revs REALLY! high around 3,000 rpms instead of a normal 1,000 to 1,500 in the mornings. Doesn't do it every day and it'll stop once I hit 3rd gear. Any ideas? ...

Message: When its cold like that the torque converter in the transmission is locked out to keep the engine and tranny both reving higher to warm up the engine and the tranny fluid quicker.
