Hi all, I have been doing some research on finding a pair of fiberglass fenders for my 1990 Dak. Its a 2wd so my 5in of total lift will only let me run 31x10.50. After seeing a company called Glassworks Unlimited, I contacted them and they said custom fenders could be made for Gen I. I have seen some intrest in this on this site too. The only problem is that they need a pair of stock fenders to mold off of. I would be willing to give mine up but my dak is my daily driver so I cant. But once they get a mold, each set would cost $370.00 +shp. They would also be somewhere in the 3-4in lifted and 3in flair in measurements. Hope we cna get this off the ground.

Hey, thanks man. I am just tryen to get my Gen I dak in the custom seen. Which is quite a chore seeing that no one makes aftermarket prods. for us. Thanks again.

The problem with old Daks is that the front floor boards are right at the rear edge of the fender well. No matter how you chop up your fenders the front tires will hit the floor boards when you turn unless you raise it to the sky and loose your handling. There is no problem in the rear, but flaired and radiused front fenders (unfortunately) won't get it!

I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota 2WD . I have been looking for Fiberglass Fenders . I went to glasswork unlimited and thats the only site ive seen that sells fiberglass fendsers. im not sure if i should order them or not. PLease help
