Message: Well, sorry I haven't gotten back to you guys on that TS 7in. kit. Yes, I should have listened to you guys. TS Sucks!! I have gone back and forth with them about receiving wrong shocks. Some too long, too short, and even teh wrong ends on them. Then after the entire install, the pinion angle was pointing at the ground. Well back to the custom fab world. Customers happy but the install was a bitch with plenty of hassles still looming after over three months later. As for the Cognito lifts, Justin is cranking them out with definate quality. I have also found out that Griffen from previous Gunner Off road is now the proud owner of Twisted suspension as seen in the back of 4wheel mag. A customer jsut showed up yesterday with one of his kits on a 98 Tahoe with 3in. body and 12 in. suspension on 42 super swampers and 15/12 welds. Ouch! What a rolling violation! He has allerady received two tickets the first week. Oh well. Thought I would up date you all on the findings.
As for the new Dakotas, SEMA is coming up at the first of November so start holding your breath and don't turn too blue. Some new lifts are rumored to be coming out for the Dodges. Let's hope they don't just concentrate on the Rams and remember the Dakota's still exist.

Message: Can anyone give me advice on my new 14" Whiplash suspension lift kit. I had it installed on my 01 GMC Z-71 and havent picked it up from the shop yet. After listening to some of your posts I'm really thinking about telling the shop that installed it to just take it off my truck and go to a straight axel conversion. Please someone tell me what I should do or if I even have that option, like I said I havent picked the truck up yet so there still responsible for everything. I've paid them $ 14,000.00 for the work they've done but monday I'm calling the Bank to stop payment on the check which is for $ 8,000.00
thats remaining on the bill after hearing all these horrible stories. They also put weld racing wheels on the truck with 44 super swamper Boggers.

Message: The kit may be "bad ass" , but the rest of the stock drivetrain was never meant to handle that kind of stress of the 44s.
That`s why you see pictures of trucks in ditches after the front end lets loose going down the highway!
