I'm from the KC area, but I wouldn't be any help in terms of finding any 4x4 shops. The only off-roading I do is driving on the Missouri highways...at least right now.

Well i did a little surfing and found ChuxTrux. It looks like their main store is over by Arrowhead Stadium and the other is in Overland Park (where i will be moving to shortly).

I did a little price comparing with them, and they seemed to be a little pricy...at least compared to a number of places on the internet. My Steel Horse bed x-tender was about $70 cheaper ordering it online, even after paying s&h. They may be good for other stuff though. I haven't actually been to their store...yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I will be right there close to the OP one so i will check it out. There's always a lot of cool stuff on the net isn't there? :) It would be so easy to blow about $10k on my truck but I think the girlfriend would have something to say about that. Do you have the factory steps on yours or are those aftermarket? I think they look great. Nice looking brushguard too.

Thanks. The steps are DeeZee, and have been sprayed with Line-X. If only I could get the wife to never look at the accounts, I think that I would spend so much we would end up living in the truck. I have a funny feeling that she wouldn't go for that. Heck, I would consider it just to make it run a little faster, or look a little better.

I am from the KC/OP area and the best place to buy any 4 wheel parts is online. There are a bunch of good places to go wheelin around KC. You just got to look.

Matt, you said you know some good places to go wheelin' around KC? Mind if I ask where? I live about 30 minutes south of OP and I work in Lenexa. There are a lot of places to go wheelin down south, but I always like new scenery.

My name is Adam. I am looking for people to go wheelin with in the KC area. I live in shawnee, KS. I am looking for places to go, but don't really know of any just places where I could possible get in trouble for tresspassing, which I really don't want to happen.
