Message: In college I've changed quite a few of them, although the hole axles were out of the vehicles, (they were for training) but anyways, unless you have a dial indicator to check backlash, understand the wear pattern, and backlash, I would let a shop do it, at least this way the shop will probly warranty it. Not to mention having to crawling under the truck. (I'm just lazy)
