John, Welcome to the Gen I Dak club of no lift kits! I have a 1990. I have spent hours looking for lifts and without much luck. All I can say is go with a 3in body lift. Trailmaster makes one I believe, at least my shop used it and then customized it for me. With a 4x4 and 3in body lift, you should be able to run 33's.
If you are set on a susp lift, talk to walter Felix. One this board. He has a 87 Dak with the Trailmaster 4in. It says only 91+ but he made it work on his 87 Dak. It looks great too. Good luck and dont give up hope! Youll get those big meats sooner or later.
