Message: Can anyone tell me if you can still get a manual shifter for a 2002 4x4, or are they all a switch on the dash? I know there is an full-time 4wd option you can get but I was wondering if you didn't want that option is it still on the floor like a 99 for instance?

Message: Thanks guys, that's what I was afraid of, in all the brochures I've looked at, they all had the switch, but I thought maybe, just maybe, they were equipped with the full-time 4wd option, and they still had the real shifter. oh well whata gonna do? Oh yea a little bit ago I posted that subject concerning spray / roll on bedliners, and how the salesman (salesb!tch) told me that they lower the value, he also told me that the shifter comes standard unless you want the AWD option. go figure. I'll take your word over a stupid @ss salesman's word. At least you guys know about Dakotas.

Message: I've NEVER heard of any kind of bedliner taking away from the vehicle value. Usually they add to it. If any liners take away from the vehicle value I'd think it was a drop in plastic liner because those actually trap water inbetween the bed and the bottom of the plastic which causes the bed to actually rust.
