Message: Wow man, my Trailmaster 3in body went well. I have had absolutely no problems with it what so ever. Sorry to hear you did.
Joey, I think both companies will have about the same components. Think about it, you need certain blocks and things to lift your body. Either way you go about it, its all gonna be about the same. Id go with the cheeper one.
Good Luck to you.

Message: joe you have a gen 2 or 3?
i guess you read my piss me off post on trail master!my front bumper brackets wouldn't line up due to stock fog lights and there was no rear bumper brackets at all. the raise with the front and rear bumpers were done with drilling holes on the frame.

Message: Dude, totally coincidence my friend. I know that I have seen posts before by the guy "joey" and have thought "man, I dont remember doing that..." But then realized it wasnt me!
Anyways, I have a Gen I!!!!!!!! Yeah, one of the ancient Daks. Also the ones that you cant get anything for! I customized my 3 in body lift for my 1990 2wd. The kit I used was like a 3in for a 1992 4x4 or something. But it went well and I have had no problems with it. Doesnt look terrible either.
Yall have a nice day!!!

Message: I own a 1999 Dodge Dakota Extended Cab 4X4. I installed a 3 inch Performanc Accessories Body Lift Kit on it. It was a breeze. The kit comes with evrything you need. Except rear bumper brackets. To raise it you just have to re-drill the holes. I tried 33 inch tires on Mickey Thompson Challenger wheels. They were to big. So I am running 32X11.50's on 8 inch wheels. But watch the back spacing on the wheels.

Message: STEVE R ?
I HAVE 2000 4X4 CC THAT I'M PUTTING A 3" PERF ACCY BODY LIFT UNDER. I AM ALSO GOING WITH 32 X 11.50 TIRES. THE 8" EAGLE ALLOYS I WANT HAVE 3-3/4" BACK SPACING VS THE STOCK 5-1/2". WITH A 3" LIFT, THE 8" RIMS, AND THE 32" TIRES, I DON'T THINK THIS SHOULD CREATE ANY RUB PROBLEMS EVEN WITH THE SMALLER BACK SPACING. SHOULD JUST GET A LITTLE WIDER STANCE TO OFFSET THE LIFT. DO YOU HAVE ANY INFO OR HAVE YOU TRIED THE COMBO I MENTIONED ABOVE TO FIND THAT IT RUBS ? THANKS FOR ANY HELP !

Message: Durtydog, I used trailmasters body because it was the only company that made a 3in'er for GenII daks I think. The perfo acc, only had the 2in. It has probably changed by now, this was over a year ago. But mine has held up really well. No complaints.
I am waiting for someone to make 3in lift spindles for Gen I trucks. Those 33x12.50s would look nice on my little Dak. If you know of any custom fab shops who might be able to custom make a set, let me know. I have already talked to a shop in Cali about it but my daily driver dak, and living in fla, doesnt allow mw to drop my truck off at their shop as it is required. So thats out. But I am always looking for the next shop who can help me.
Thanx
Joe E.
