 Subject: leaf spring centering pin part of axle?

hi, i'm trying to find some information about
an issue someone im trying to help is having
with their dak. he wants to lift the rear but
he says blocks wont work because his centering
pins are permanently attached to his axle, not
just a special headed bolt like 99.9% other
leaf spring centering pins.
i have never seen this before, and only ever
heard of it 1 other time and that was on a ram.
has anyone ever heard of this? know where to
get more info about this? know of a fix?
please help.
