 Subject: Biggest tires I can fit on 97' 4x2

I have a 97 Dakota SLT extended cap 2wd 3.9L engine. I was
wondering what size tires I could fit without a body lift or any
other lift. I was thinking about 30/9.5 but I'm not sure if they will
fit without rubbing or causing any issues. Anyone have any
suggestions or tips?

Try 285/65r16 tires. Those are the biggest you can fit on
a 2wd without a lift

I would try 31x10.50r15 then. I thought you had 16 inch
rims
