Message: i have a stock 97 5.2 4x4 and am considering the PA 3inch body lift kit. I have 31x10.5x15 now and am more than likely going to go to 33x10.5x15 i have the 3.92 gears so this should not be a big issue. Im considering either bfgoodrich all terrains or bfgoodrich KM2s and honestly have no idea which to pick. I offroad on occasion, but when i do there have been many instances when i would have loved to have mudders instead of the all terrains i have now. Another option was to not get the lift and keep the same size tires and get good year dura tracs because they are a mixture of mud and all terrain tires... Any suggestions?

Message: Chris,
Get the tire that is going to make you happy. With that being said, the more aggressive the tread, the louder they will be on the road...not so much when they are new, but as they wear they will get progressively louder. I have known guys who replaced aggressive tires with half their tread left because they did not like the 'howling'. I have also know guys who would put nothing but aggressive treads on their rigs...and rarely, if ever go off pavement. So, back to my original comment: Get the tire that is going to make you happy...for the entire life of the tire...
Good luck!
