hey guys...looking to fix my peg leg 97. None of the junk yards in my area have a limited slip for me and the dealer wants 1000CAN for the part not including labor. Anyone know of a site that sells limited slips mopar or aftermarket for a lesser price?

Pick up any 4 wheel drive 'rag' (magazine) and you will find a slew of retailers. Two quickly come to mind:
Randy's Ring and Pinion
4WheelParts.com
You should be able to buy a unit that will fit into your existing differential setup. These places will also be able to tell (sell?) you exactly which seals you will need to do the job.

I would suggest not looking for the unit but the whole axle at the junk yard. Most of the 4x4's came with a stock limited slip that works pretty well. The whole axle shouldn't cost you more then $100-150. If you buy one you will have to have it set up at a cost of nearly $1000 all said and done. But the cost of 4 u-bolts and a couple hours seems like a better alternative to me.

Most of the 4x4's did NOT come with limited slip.
Maybe this is why he was having a hard time finding one?

My 4X4 with a 8.25 rear axle did and I have the LSD carrier for sale with 4.56 gears. Make an offer if someone actually needs on from this old post.
