If anyone is interested, Amazon is having a sale on 05-10 Dakota 3" body lift kits from Performance Accessories. I just picked one up for $275 and they retail for around $450. Plus, this kit comes with the steering shaft extension AND the fron/rear bumper mounts to raise the bumpers up. I'm also planning on putting a couple 2" spacers up front and fabricating 2" blocks and new U-Bolts for the rear. Total of 5". Will try to post pics when complete.

Just finished installing it and can't stop getting compliments. It was pretty difficult but paid off in the end. I'll try to post pictures after the new tires are put on.

I happen to like the 05+ bodystyle and this is my FIFTH Dakota...with a bumper swap it would be much better looking than the three gen 3 daks I had. After driving all 5 I will tell you that this one rides A LOT better than the gen 3 trucks, including the 2wd ones. If you guys don't like the style, fine, just STFU....the retarded negative comments are getting old.
