Subject: 16" wheels on 2000 4x4 IP: Logged
Message: want to replace my currect 15x8s with a set of BLACK 16x8s. I like the look of the black wheels and the 16 should give me the ability to put a little bigger tire (265/75) on without modifications, other than a torsion lift and speedo adjustment.
Does anyone know where I can get an inexspensive set of wheels?
Is there anything else I should take into consideration?

Message: I don't see any problems with this idea. Unless I'm mistaken, after 04 16" rims were stock on all 4x4's because the calipers needed more room. This is what is stock on my 04. I have since then put on the same tire size that you mentioned, along with a slight torsion crank.
Good luck.

Message: Almost forgot-Tire price will be higher if you go with a larger rim.
