Actully by having them assembled in the US it provides jobs for people, which is what we need, because unemployment is sky rocketing. Well you can buy a piece of crap if you like its your money. I know that my truck is better than yours in more ways than one, this is a dodge board after all with a bunch of stupid rednecks who couldnt tell their heads from their ass. Also by buying a toyota in the US almost 90% of that money goes into the US. The dealer makes money, the mechanics who fix my truck make money, and some japanesse make some money, so what we sell cars to other countries. Its not like we dont have any money in this country, well we dont right know because our so called president put us in a debt that my kids will be paying off when they are on their death beds. Any way just wanted to make that clear. O ya, you wanna check my spelling next time to you queer.

Well at least I can know that if I do load some stuff in my truck, I know its gonna actully get to its destination. I believe this was a thread from the Offroad section, so I am not sure towing capacity is really the issue here. Well anyways, about the tundra...your dodges dont even compare, read some reviews... they will all tell you tundra is prime for heavy duty. I cant wait till you all crap yourselves when the new tundra comes out in 06' 350hp, It will make that hemi look like a 4 banger. Tundras already do, and my taco already does so yes it will look like a 4 banger. Stop being rednecks for Gods sake.

You do need to keep your toy, you don't know the difference between towing capacity and payload. I didn't mention anything about towing. I have never been left stranded in a Chrysler product and I have been driving them for going on 20 years. I have nothing against Toyota at all. I think they are a fine truck. The truth be said, all makes have there strong points and they all certainly have there weaknesses. This is really a waste of time cat fighting about one or the other. We all just choose what suits us best. After all, oppinions are like a$$holes, we all have one.

Don't say stupid crap man, My s/c taco has more than enough power get through some sand, not to mention that nice rear locker Ive got helps out a lot in the sand. Dont tell me that a 290hp 3,000lb truck couldnt get through some sand,common man. Im sorry for being a di*ck earlier, I got defensive like anyone would, I relize this is a dodge forum. I take that back about not liking daks, I think they are pretty sweat, but for what I do, my truck is perfect for me. I love to drive it, damn thing scares me at open throtle. Lets think bout this rationally, if you were to take a V6 and supercharge it and then take a V8 and supercharge it which one do you think will make more horsepower and torque? Its been said about 100 times now, and I guess I will say it one more time. You build the truck you like to do what you want. I know someone out there has a Yota that will kick my Kota’s azz on a trail, but I’d like to see him take that same truck and out tow me.. And I know some yuppie out there has a Yota that will out tow me, but guess what, I bet he cant keep up with my Kota on the trails.

Ok, this is an offroad forum, my taco will destroy you offroad. For towing We have a f350 diesel. just admit the taco in stock form is better than the dakota in stock form. I would like to see you supercharge ur dakota. Engine wouldnt even last half as long as its already short lifespan compared to a taco. Nothing like a factory supercharger, covered under the powertrain warrenty. Laters u guys, ive had enough redneck bullsh*t. Just to let you know I eat dodges off and on-road.

TRDsuperchrd, you obviously have one serious complex about your Toyota. Are you upset because you spent too much on an inferior truck, so you have to come here and try to convince everyone (and yourself) how great it really is? My, how pathetic you are. I have had to pull several Tacos out of sand, mud, and other nasties. Not just because the trucks weren't able to handle it, but the drivers were idiots and didn't have a clue as far as technique goes. I guarantee I can keep up with you off-road wherever you want to go, strictly because of my ability as a driver. I'll take my Jeep or my Dak, doesn't matter to me. The point is, children such as yourself just tend to mash the pedal and careen off everything in sight until you get to the end of the trail rather than trying to use some finesse. Dakota owners have too much respect for their vehicles to beat them the way Taco boys do, and don't give me any crap about reliability or whatever you feel like pulling out of your butt for an argument. And comparing stock vehicles? Why would anyone wheel in a stock truck (except maybe a Jeep Renegade)? Buy the best truck for it's potential and the Dak wins by a long shot. I guess if the trails you are going on are so easy that all you need is stock, well, stick with your TuRD and keep wondering where all the Daks are. Get to the harder trails and you'll find us.

Wow, TRDsuperchrd, that is one heck of an argument you put up. I guess by calling me names that proves how much better the Taco TuRD is. I have to ask, though... does your mommy know you are driving her truck? Obviously you are only about 14 or 15 years old so you must not own one yourself (I assume the F350 is daddy's truck). I have never heard an adult whine and cry and resort to name calling to win a discussion like you do. Try using facts and real world experience, your arguments will carry a lot more weight. Of course, at your age you wouldn't have much experience, but that doesn't excuse you for not knowing the facts. Now write something clever and be sure to use all the names you can think of!

I have had a toyota and now i have a dakota. Heres how it goes, I spent around $2000 on my toyota and it still never ran right and my dakota i have not had any trouble out of my dakota so far and i have had it for 6 months now.

Tacomas rule, Dakotas drool. I can go through a 10 foot deep mud hole while towing a motorhome. I can climb a 80 degree slope covered in ice, and do it in 2wd. I have 10 times more hp than anything Dodge makes, and that is stock. And I can load 5 tons of bricks in the bed without the suspension showing any signs of sagging. I am so cool I just don't know what to do with myself other than brag about the fantasies I have of the capabilities of my truck.

If toyotas rule so much why do you have to broadcast it. It seems like everbody would know. I think that your toyota is a piece of $hit. Why do you like $hit? Your toyota is the 10 foot deep mud hole!!! You only have 10 times more power then a dodge when you are pulled up that 80 degree slope by a dakota. Did you say you where in 2wd. Did you mean pulled up by a 2wd dakota? Either way that is nothing to brag about. My dodge can climb a 81 degree hill full of ice coasting. Use your head, Toyotas suck.

Why argue about these two they both are insuperior. Rangers and s-10s baby. The tacos are alright i agree they last a hell of a long time my friend has a 89 and we beat the crap out of it and it finnaly is only rrunning of 4 cylinders. Why am i on a dakota site u may ask. My bro is getting an 89 and i'm tryin to help him out to make it nicer n make that b*tch go in the mud. any suggestions all i know about is Rangers
