Message: Over the weekend, I saw a GenIII dalota 4x4 with 33x12.5" tires. I dont know what year it was but it had a v8 and the stick-shift type 4x4 shifter. It wasnt lifted but the torsion bars may have been cranked. I looked closely under the wheel well and the exposed frame and it didnt look like there was any rubbing. I wasnt able to ask the owner about them but it looked mighty good!

Message: He must have those bars to the max because I have 32's and they rub on the inside panel.I'd say he has at least a 2" lift because I really don't think it's possible, but I might be wrong.:)

Message: He must have ad something other than just cranking the torsion bars because I cant see that giving enough room. My 33x12.50's barely fit wit my lift. My 32x11.50's barely fit before my lift but they did.

Message: Mine were rubbing just a little on the bottom corner of the front bumper. I just took the dremel and a file to it a little. Cant really even tell I did it. They werent rubbing that bad to start with. What rims are you using? I have aftermarket rims.

Message: Hawkeye: i have American Eagle 117's 15x8 which have a 3.75" back spacing
The tire rubs on the wheel flair in the rear slightly, and has a bad rubbing in the front on the corner of the bumper. i will try adjusting the torsion bars, i have not adjusted it yet.

Message: The difference is most likely in the backspacing on the rims. Have to look mine up and see what they are because they dont hit on the back side at all, just that little bit on the front which it really doesnt do any more.
