Subject: tires question..help please IP: Logged
Message: i have a 2000 4.7 4x4. I want to run 32x11.5 R15s. two questions. one: will they fit on the stock dodge rims (15") and two: is there any way to get them on without getting a body or suspension lift? would tightening the torsion bars do the trick?

Message: ive got 31 by 1050s on my dakota and they fit with room to spare you should be able to get 32s under there i just dont know about the 1150 part it will probly rub when you turn all the way. with trimming you can fit 33 by 1050. if you are still unsure go to your local tire dealer and they should mount one for you and see if it will fit. they did it for me and didnt charge me any extra cost, probly cause i still spent 800 in tires...BFG mud terrains

Message: they wont fit w/o cranking up your torsion bars. i work at a tire shop and also have a 2000 4.7 4x4 dak. i got 33/12.50/15 under it by addin new torsion bar keys, cranking them up all the way, and adding a 3 in body lift. the 32/1150/15 will still rub your frame so you'll have to put wheel spacers on

Message: If you have the 8" rims. If your truck has the 7" rims they will be pinched at the rim - not the best of fit for a proper contact patch.
