Does anyone know what a "good chain" tension should be on this case? (its off a '94 V6 Dakota) I blew up my old one, and found a replacement case, I opened it up, to inspect all the internals for excessive wear before I put it all back together.
I don't want to spend any money on a rebuild kit for it unless I need to, but I am concered about a streched chain. I can't seem to find any info on what the proper slack should be. I'd like to know if it's acceptable before I bolt everything all back up into place.
