Subject: please help IP: Logged
Message: i have a 1994 dodge dakota 4x4 ext. cab. right now the only thing i have done is put on a three inch body and rims and 33" tires. i am going to add a 4" suspension from trailmaster and maybe up it to 35's. i am lookin for info on engine mods for better performance and gas mileage. i am thinking of regearing it not undesided on to what. So somebody please help me find solutions.

Message: Not sure on the engine u have but I've heard adding a cold air intake helps quite a bit also if you do your exhaust perhaps add a chip... Or if you really wanted to drop some cash add a supercharger. :-) Just some ideas

Message: it has the 3.9 v6. i have a k&n filter but the intake is all stock and i have flowmaster exhaust but i havent really noticed a difference. what do you mean about a cold air intake?

Message: Basically the intake.. when u have like a K&N GenII kit .. or the custom kits that people are making for there 4.7's .. Least last time I checked it was called Cold air intakes.
