Read your warrantys carefull. Putting a lift kit on a truck does not always void your warranty. The only time it voids the warranty is if the stress of a part you changed or added crates a direct problem. Ie. say u put on a lift, and two months later you crack a cyl head, because the lift didn't change the way the oil flow or cooling sys was designed it is not to blame for the failure therefore still covered by the warranty.
One of my friends added some performance parts to his truck ie. chip, programmer, exhaust (maybe minor other things) his warranty was not voided for a mech problem with the truck. This WAS NOT REVEALED TO HIM EASILY. He confronted the warranty guy face to face and was like look theres no way my parts mechanically compromised what failed so you legally cant void my warranty. and the guy had to bite his tounge and eat the cost. Friend graduated from a diesel tech school luckily he was well informed on the topic and had checked his warranty b4 adding the parts.
