I had a chevy s-10 zr2 that i put a body lift on. Come to find out that a k&n air intake wont mount once a body lift is installed. I'm wondering if this is the same for my 03 dakota quad cab.

I did a body lift on mine, only with a volant intake system, I had to cut off a little of the mounting brackets, bend em, and drill new holes, but it wasn't all that hard, and all is good.

I have a 3" BL on my 04 QC and installed the K&N FIPK Cold Air Filter with no problems.
Although, there is one bracket included that I could not get to mount right, but it wasn't really needed. The filter doesn't budge with it not being on. Makes sense now...I thought I was just doing something wrong and gave up.
