I GOT A 97 KNIEVEL EDITION DAKOTA FROM MY CUZ AN HE BOUGHT IT USED AT A CARLOT. IT CAME WITH 33" THORNBIRDS 2" BODY LIFT SINGLE PIPE EXHAUST, A BULL NOSE COWL INDUCTION HOOD AN A SUPER CHIP ECM. MY CUZ FOUND SOME INFO ON THE WEB A FEW YEARS BACK SAYIN THEY MADE TWO DAKOTAS AN TWO RAMS DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA OF ROOT INFO?

Not ROBBIE no . His dad's home town is mine. Butte Mt. yes I Know where the dad lives. When I had my shop I worked on his golf cart. His home is right on the Country club golf course, Elevator and all lol.You should see his home. Forgot how many garages he has but there full of wrecked cars, vans and uncountable wrecked motor bikes. We run around on the bikes when kids. And yes he has always been crazy. I believe he is in Florida right now but he moves around a lot. KNIEVEL day is fast approaching here and he always attends. He may not be catchable until then if at all. He is a very sick man these days . This year he stated he will be unable to lead the Motorcycle parade on one of his Harlies. . I'm betting they will put him in a caddy convert. Myself, I don't expect him to live another year. I have never looked but I'm sure he and the kid both have web sites. Try contacting them that way. Your not someone just trying to BS. You have an agenda that I think will give them a chuckle whether it is the real deal or not. Good luck.

I been thinking. I really doubt Mopar would have built 2 special addition Dakotas for Knievel. He has had a lot of special addition items such as golf carts, motorcycles and so forth. Everything I ever seen that was special made for him had a brass tag riveted to it and was made by a dealer or a body shop rather then a factory. But I guess it is possible somebody did one or two things over the years.
