Subject: Question about torsion bar crank
IP: Logged

Message:
I'm debating on cranking up the torsion bars on my 97 CC a couple inches to even out the ride height and give me that extra clearance in the front. If I did so, is it mandatory to get my tires realigned? Thanks in advance.

It would be a good idea - I did.
Cranked for about 6 years now with no related problems.

Is it mandatory? No. Is it a good idea? Yea, probably. I just did the same to mine and did not get it aligned. I plan on keeping an eye on tire wear but that's about it.
