 Subject: 4x4 fuel pump

ell I got 47,000 mile on my dak and I think the fuel pump is out. Anybody have this problem yet. It's an 04 club cab 4x4 with the v6. I went to the dump the other day and went a little crazy in the mud, maybe that has something to do with it. It didn't work for me this morning intil I banged on my gas tank and my pump amazingly turned on. Then I went about ten miles on the freeway and left me for dead. I already ordered the part, but havn't started working in it yet. If you guys have any tips please let me know.
