I have a 1998 Dakota 4x4 318 w/ ABS. I have had a lot of problems with my front wheel bearings on my truck. I have replaced both hub assemblies after they have basically fallen apart. I could somewhat understand the problem before was that I was living in Michigan and the truck didn't get driven that much so bearings tend to rust. But, now I live in South Carolina and I started hearing grinding again on my way home from work. At $200 a piece this is starting to get kind of old. I was wondering if anyone else has had these problems and if so, what can I do about it. Is there like an aftermarket hub assembly that is stronger. I would appreciate any input that I can get.
