Subject: How does everyone like Fabtech? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2003 2wd dakota and was wondering how everyone liked Fabtech's Suspension lift? How much did it bring down your mpg and how did it affect your cornering ability? Also do I have to switch over to aftermarket rims and tires or am I fine w/ the stock stuff for awhile? Thanks in advance!!!

Message: what's up , you have to run after market rims , if you are looking for some I have american eagle 8" for 150 ............ I'm running 31x10.5 and I don't see difference . I have the 355 gears . Cornering is still pretty much the same or better , the rims stick out more so it corners even better ............What i did that nobody told me about the lift is , I made some spacers about 3/4 " and put them on the end links of the stabilizer bar in the front , to give a little room for the bar to articulate , when you raise it 3" it gets to tight and doesn't let the front articulate well . After doing that is way better ..............I have had mine on for 5 years no problems ......... Switched to weld rims 15 x 8 .........
