Message: for me it was really close to 100mph down a dirt road i didn't know and nut in a fixed up ford truck chasing me off his property.
got to love the freedom in off-road, i have done 80mph many times.

Message: I haven't dared to go more than 55-60 mph...I drive a 93, so you can imagine stuff is probably waiting to go out on my truck, lol. Hitting mud puddles at that speed is quite fun enough for me though.

Message: yall keep on if you want too, i was in a wreck at 45mph on a dirt road, once it slides you Wont save it, totalled the truck and broke my ankle, and shoulda been alot worse.

Message: 55-60mph is the fastest I've ever done and will do on dirt/gravle roads. Just like soldier boy said once you lose control your not going to get it back. My trucks not quite a rally car.

Message: my 98 dakota goes great in the dirt and is extremely stable but like you said if you really start to lose control at high speeds its hard to recover it.
i remember when my friend took his supercharged dakota R/T into the dirt and thought that he had to turn back and forth to get the rear to slide around. truck spun out an almost put us through a brick wall.

Message: i 3rd the losing control statement. not in my dak but my sisters 02 frontier desert runner..had to swerve to miss a car comming on my side of the road and jerk the wheel to miss another car right behind them on the right side of the road. completely sideways sliding for 50 feet at 60 mph telephone pole drivers side halfway through the truck. im lucky to be alive. truck will never be the same again..
