I have this posted on V8 board with no response so thought I would post it here too. Thanks. I have a 2001, 5.9L, Quad Cab 4WD. It has the automatic in it. I want to change it over to a manual tranny. I like the truck so I really don't want to take the easy way out and trade it and buy something different. I want the NV3550 or NV4500 and retain my stock transfer case unless someone thinks a manual shift HD NP231/241 would be better. I'm told I have to get a manual tranny computer, also are there any crank position sensor issues. As you can tell I need lots of help. Ideas, please, Ron
